Snow

We woke up this morning to the sound of children playing on the street.  There was shouting and clearly they were having a lot of fun.  Taking a look outside to see what the commotion was all about, we were greeted with a vision of snow and children (and adults) playing snowballs.

Snow is not something we expected here, maybe in the mountains, but not virtually at sea level this far south.  As someone local said, a once in ten year event.

  1. There ‘s a freeze over Europe I gather and it’s very cold here at present but no snow as yet in London!

    • Yes, part of the same freeze. It has warmed up a bit today which is nice, and set to stay warmer for the next few days. The snow was a bit of a shock, as you know, I do not like snow.
